As I sit out here on the back patio of my temporary Florida home and drink my green smoothie, I can’t help but think about all the adventures, hardships, and pivotal moments God has walked me through these past few months. Life’s been a journey lately! It’s been full of both exciting times and uncertainties. Though it’s been so difficult at times, I’ve loved every minute of it!
So, let me update you a bit. I was in another car accident. It was tough, but man did God really show me that it was part of His plan all along. The way it all ended up working out was pretty amazing---stressful, but amazing. I now have a beautiful Chevrolet Equinox that I love SO much! God had His hand in it all! When I asked Him “WHY?!” He eventually answered me more clearly than I could have ever imagined. This situation prepared me for future struggles and hardships. It showed me to not question why things are happening to me, but to have faith and respond with, “Okay, thank you! I’ll eventually know the answer! I know that you are in control, and I trust you!”
On another note, I GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE!! I am now a Texas Christian University alum, and I couldn’t be more proud of myself! This is something that I worked so hard to accomplish, and no one can take that away from me! Many opportunities were placed right in front of me that could have kept me from my goal of graduating, but keeping my priorities straight and having faith that I could make it through the final chapter of my journey as a TCU student- I finished! GO FROGS!
Now I am continuing my life in Florida. How long will I be here? I’m not too sure of that right now. Like I said, my life is full of uncertainties at the moment. Who knows where I’ll end up next! The important thing I’m going to remember, and that I encourage you all to remember as well, is that He’s in control of it all. I have goals and passions along with triumphs and trials that are always coming up when I least expect them, but I must not forget to focus on the fact that I will always have one constant… HIS love! Wherever life may take you, always keep your faith. Faith in God, faith in yourself, faith in how far you have come, and faith in how far you can go!
