Happy Tuesday, friends! This crazy cold Texas weather has been keeping me in hibernation lately. I know I know… it’s no Chicago or anything like that, but it’s all the same for me when I’m cold! So my bed, hot tea, and Netflix have been keeping me great company lately J
So, in my last post I talked about how it is completely okay to make a fresh start to your earlier set goals that you may have strayed away from. Well, I’m going to share with you a few ideas I use to make that fresh start.
1. Start early. Wake up early in the morning, and start your day. early in the morning with a prayer to have a great productive day then start movin’!. When you start your day productive you are more likely to continue that day like so! Once you have one awesome day of getting things done, and keep that up, you’ll begin to make it a routine! Make sure to include a task that helps with your personal adventure goals in the beginning to stick with those resolutions!
2. Breakfast of champions. On that note. If one of those PAGs is making healthier choices, this is a key element to that. As we all know, breakfast is the most important part of the day! If you’ve been taking a few more cheat days than earlier planned that’s okay! A good breakfast with all the right things can set ya straight! My favorite “get yourself right breakfast” is: scrambled eggs (One egg yolk with a few egg whites) with sautéed veggies (whatever I have in my fridge! Spinach, onion, mushrooms, peppers, asparagus). Seasonings are key! Cayenne pepper, cumin, Italian seasoning, and turmeric are great for digestion! Top it off with Siracha sauce and avocado and bam! Spicy start but it is awesome for you!!
3. Organize! It just makes sense… When your life around you is organized, life just gets easier! I used these couple of frozen days to clean and organize my room, bathroom, and office and now I have no excuse not to get my stuff doooone!! All of the distractions are out of the way! Seee ya! Let’s work!
4. Plan it out! I get it. Spontaneity is fun! But when you want to get your fresh start and motivation you gotta plan out what you need to do to feel successful! If fitness is one of your PAGs this is key for you! Plan out those workouts, and when you will do them! I now write them down on sticky notes and stick them in my planner! That way when you go to the gym you don’t spend half your time walking around/slowing your heart rate down thinking of what to do next. Been there done that!
5. Support yourself! One of the most important support systems you can have is yourself! You have to believe in yourself! You can start over and keep it up this time!!! I believe in you, but for it to matter the most you have to have faith in yourself!! Mental notes, random prayers, smiles and hugs to and from friends, whatever you gotta do to make sure your living positively and smiling do it! GO YOU!!
Make actions that you will thank yourself later for! Try these Fresh Five and let me know what you think!
Thanks for taking the time to read this, friends!! Love you guys! Have a great day!!
